Thank you!

Small Terror

It's good to know that my last little annoyance, after all the horrible that was 2009, was a simple eyelash in my eye. I made my wish, hopefully 2010 turns out to be the awesome year that 2009 wasn't.

Paranoia

It's true I'm paranoid beyond belief.
This picture has nothing to do with the upcoming paragraph btw.
I'm selling pound cake. I found my grandma's recipe for it on my computer (I was smart enough to type them up and save them from her handwritten copies) and I love the recipe so much I want to share it with folks. However work gets put into doing that, and this economy ain't pickin' up that well yet, so I'm not just gonna give them away. They're $10 a cake, which includes shipping and handling (when did S&H get so expensive!) so if you want a loaf of DELICIOUS email me at djones1286@yahoo.com. I'm telling you you'll love it. Trust me.

Updates

You know how life is. I SAID I was gonna update every Friday night, then come Friday I'm so tired after work I pass out and put off posts till the next day. Next thing you know it's a month later, I haven't paid my rent, my wife and kids have left me, and I'm living in a van down by the river. I'm sorry, I'll try and do better next time!

Traffic

I'm sure Commuting Californians will agree.

Also I'm so sorry this post was late. I got home last night from said traffic and fell into a small coma.

Health Care Reform

It recently occurred to me how extremely ableist this fight against the health care reform is, after seeing a video of a woman in a wheelchair booed for wanting affordable healthcare for her condition. Immediately, I saw the classism, and the racism, but as an able bodied person something this obvious flew over my head, and I almost smacked myself in my forehead for my stupidity. It's not just about poor people getting help, it's about differently-abled people getting help. It's about making the US as a country healthier. It shocks me how anyone could be against that.
